Coeur d'Alene Parkway State Park in northern Idaho follows the north shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene just south of the city of Coeur d'Alene as a 5.7-mile paved trail and shoreline access area. Part of the North Idaho Centennial Trail, it connects to a longer regional route while preserving a scenic public lakefront corridor. At Higgens Point, a boat launch, docks, and a picnic area support practical access to the water as well as travel on foot or by bicycle. The park's importance lies in combining everyday recreation with protection of a notable stretch of waterfront.
