Don Williams County Park is a 600-acre park in Boone County, Iowa, north of Ogden, surrounding the 150-acre Don Williams Reservoir formed by flooding during dam construction. It also serves as headquarters for Boone County Conservation, linking recreation with local conservation work. Its seasonal campground operates from April 15 to October 15, making the reservoir and park grounds a warm-weather destination. The park is named for Donald Williams, an Iowa conservation pioneer, founding member of the Boone County Conservation Board, and a key figure in securing the legislation that created the Iowa County Conservation System.
