At Pisgah Church Yard are buried soldiers of the American Revolution: Joseph Bartholomew, Alexander Black, William Garrett, William Kinkead, William Martin, Alexander Smith, and Samuel Stevenson, in a memorial dedicated to the glory of God and these soldiers of the war fought from 1775 to 1783.
