Boot Hill Cemetery was a burial place for both law-abiding and God-fearing men and women and, often without benefit of clergy, men who "died with their boots on." Its name was borrowed from a cemetery in Dodge City, Kansas, during that place's time as a resort of buffalo hunters and trail drivers.
