The "T-Hacha-P" logo came from an early fruit crate label. A steam powered combine appears with a horse drawn water wagon and Tehachapi Peak in the background. Former mayor and civic leader Jake Jacobsen and his brother Rolf built the seed-packing shed. The funnel still on the roof directed seeds into a hopper inside the building. Tehachapi formerly produced seeds for many diverse crops.
