Paris Mountain
Nature
Paris Mountain is a 1,926-foot peak on the Blue Ridge in northern Virginia, on the border of Loudoun and Clarke counties. Located just north of Ashby's Gap and the town of Paris, from which it takes its name, it is the highest point in both counties. Blue Ridge Mountain Road reaches the mountain from the gap, and the Appalachian Trail runs along its western slope. Its importance lies in its prominence within the local landscape and its close connection to the geography of Ashby's Gap and the surrounding Blue Ridge.
