The site honors those who sacrificed their lives in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm. It also remembers Curtis Rutz, the first deceased past commander of VFW Post 6133, deceased members of the post and auxiliary, Theodore J. Bulas of Missouri, a staff sergeant in the 63rd Infantry, 6th Division, who served in World War II and died on March 1, 1916 - February 13, 1945, and Wilbur O. Bledsoe, a PFC in the U.S. Army who served in World War II, received the Purple Heart, and died on Mar. 19 1917- Jul. 27 1944.
