Carol Connor served as a judge of the S.C. Family Court from 1983 to 1988, as acting justice of the S.C. Supreme Court in 1984, as the first female judge of the S.C. 1st Circuit Court from 1988 to 1993, and as a judge of the S.C. Court of Appeals from 1993 to 2004.
