The Court Street Bridge was built in 1898 and rebuilt in 1940 by W.J. Meagher of Bay City, Mich. An original piece of the bridge taken during the 1940 reconstruction survives here. Samples were taken from each concrete load to ensure that all the correct specifications were met. In 1992, the bridge was remodeled and renamed the Frank N. Anderson Bridge, although local residents still refer to it as the Court Street Bridge.
