Built around 1850, this Italianate commercial building housed courthouse offices during construction of the present courthouse from 1854 to 1860. It also contained a community center, Washington Hall, which also served as the publishing site of the Saturday Review from 1879 to 1892. The second floor featured out-cropping windows facing the city center. Mr. D. Silberberg opened the Cincinnati Clothing Factory here in 1884 and sold the store to Mr. John Huber in 1906. The Huber Clothing Company continued until 1974.
