Chauncey Eaglehorn, a member of Company M of the 167th Infantry, was born in 1874, enlisted in April 1917, and was killed in action at Chateau Thierry, France, on July 29th, 1918. Those who knew him best loved him most. He fought in defense of Liberty and Union, and he fell nobly while fighting for Liberty. His bravery shall never be forgotten.
