Dr. Kenneth H. Fox crafted the Chinese Coolie statue from 1 mile of reinforced steel rebar and 35 cubic yards of concrete. It stands 22 feet high, is 33 feet long, and weighs 70 tons. The giant statue relocated to this historic site on November 27, 1989. It was a gift to the community of Auburn from local businesses and individuals.
