Built shortly after the Civil War, this building was known as Shaw's Hall by the 1880s. Over time it housed grocery stores, a meat market, a saloon, restaurants, and a 5 and 10 store. Its upstairs rooms served as court rooms in the 1880s and 90s, as the Odd Fellows Hall, and as the offices of Drs. George and Ben Penn. Its original brick front had arched windows that were replaced in 1960, and it was renovated in 2018 by the Causey family.
