The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in New Ulm occupies the city’s former public library at First North Street and Broadway. Its galleries preserve memorabilia from solo performers and groups and display photographs of all inductees. By pairing internationally known Minnesota artists with regional musical traditions, it shows the breadth of the state’s musical heritage. Honored figures include Bob Dylan, Judy Garland, Prince, Eddie Cochran, Bobby Vee, and The Andrews Sisters, while exhibits also document local ethnic music and polka’s strong role in rural Minnesota. New inductees are added each October, and the museum opens in summer and by request in winter.
