Webb Hill is a low mountain within St. George in southwestern Utah, rising 3,140 feet and standing out as a small but distinct part of the city landscape. Its red soils and rock formations, colored by iron oxide and underlain by sedimentary bedrock from the Jurassic, Triassic, and Permian periods, connect it to the region’s broader red-rock geology. The hill is known chiefly as a communications site, with radio and television towers, translator signals, and a high-speed internet transmitter serving St. George and nearby neighborhoods. In 1998, the skeletal remains of an unidentified male were also found there.
