The Corpus Christi procession route includes the first of four chapels used in an annual devotion honoring the Blessed Sacrament on the ninth Sunday after Easter. First celebrated here in 1846, the observance originated in thirteenth-century Germany. This solemn and colorful march follows a one-mile route through woods, meadow, and village streets.
