Citizens of Woodbury honored all who served in the World War, and in 1966 dedicated the trees planted along Broad Street, also known as the Avenue of the Veterans, to those of the City of Woodbury who served honorably in all wars of the country, with the dedication sponsored by the City of Woodbury, the Woodbury Veterans Committee, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S.A., Veterans of World War I of the U.S.A., Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A., and the American Legion.
