Established in 1969 in Pendleton, Oregon, the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame became the first hall of fame created by an individual show. Devoted to the history and material culture of the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon, it preserves the city’s signature rodeo and pageant traditions through exhibits and inductees. Its collections include memorabilia from those shows, cowboy and Native American artifacts, a full-sized teepee, saddles, clothing, regalia, photographs, weapons, trophies, and wagons. Together, these objects connect Pendleton’s identity to the people, performances, and traditions associated with its best-known events.
