Brady Anderson built this Queen Anne style house between 1892 and 1894. Waldemar Ager, an influential Norwegian-American author and editor, lived here from 1903 until his death in 1941. He wrote many novels, short stories, essays, and editorial pieces for Reform, a Norwegian-language Prohibitionist newspaper. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and Ager wrote five novels and seven collections of short fiction here.
