Ridgway State Park in Ouray County, Colorado, lies around Ridgway Reservoir and offers broad views of the Cimarron Range of the San Juan Mountains. About four miles north of Ridgway, it brings together boating, camping, fishing, and trail access in one year-round recreation area. Its three entrances serve different purposes: Dallas Creek for day use and picnicking, Dutch Charlie for camping, marina access, and a children's swim beach, and Pa-co-chu-puk for the park's best-known fishing. Trails include wheelchair-accessible routes, and wildlife such as deer, elk, coyotes, rabbits, and mountain lions also makes the area a limited hunting destination.
