The vertical bricks of the cross came from the exterior of the bell tower of the church on Main Street, and the brick on the right came from the interior of the bell tower. The brick on the left came from St. Joseph Church in Ridgway, Ill., which was destroyed by a tornado on February 29, 2012, during the time of the construction of this new church. The three bells, cast in 1905, were relocated from the church on Main Street in 2012.
