Shenandoah River Raymond R. “Andy” Guest Jr. State Park, commonly called Shenandoah River State Park, is a Virginia state park near Bentonville. Established in 1994, it covers 1,619 acres along the South Fork Shenandoah River. The park was named for Virginia Delegate Andy Guest, a longtime resident of the area. Set within one of Virginia’s most recognized river landscapes, it remains part of the state park system and reflects the region’s close connection to the Shenandoah.
