George Delbert Walker, D.D., born in 1881 and died in 1928, served as Superintendent of Universalist Churches of the State of New York from 1912 to 1928. Largely by his own faith and continued effort, he established in New York State a pension fund for Universalist ministers and their widows. He was remembered for rare personal qualities and for faithful and efficient service as a loyal friend, a delightful comrade, a capable official, and a true Christian minister of the gospel of the everlasting love and good will of God.
