History
4
Dr. Llewellyn C. Tucker built and owned this building, with a dentist office upstairs. Richard "Dick Watt" Manson operated People's Clothing Company in the lower level from 1905 to 1942, and before 1927 it also housed the Blackstone Town Office. The Veteran's Grill opened here in 1942 and remained until sometime in the 1950s. The building was completed in 1903-1904 after a fire destroyed the general store that had previously stood on this site. It was most recently renovated in 2008 by RS Developments, LLC, and is listed by the United States Department of the Interior National Park Service as a contributing structure on the National Register of Historic Places.
