In 2014, when she accepted the Citizen of the Year award, Inez Oehlke spoke about communities working together to get things done by putting their shoulder to the wheel. She loved telling stories about Woodbury families working together and neighbors helping neighbors for the good of the community. She was 96 years old when she died in 2016, but her community spirit lives on, and her bequest helped fund the barn restoration.
