Lawrence "Larry" Buhler graduated from Windom High School in 1935, attended the University of Minnesota from 1935 to 1939, and played for the Green Bay Packers from 1939 to 1941. He was voted Minnesota’s MVP in 1938, an All American Athlete in 1939, and was named to the Green Bay Hall of Fame in 1942.
