Mud River Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge tied to Milton in western West Virginia. Built around 1875, it originally crossed the Mud River as a single-span, modified Howe truss measuring about 112 feet long and 14 feet wide. Its preservation history reflects its importance: the bridge was restored in 1971 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. In later years it was relocated twice, first in 1997 to a temporary site near its original location, and then in 2001 to a new setting over a pond at the Cabell County Fairgrounds.
