1305 Main Street
History
2
Built in the mid 1880's to match the two buildings to the west, 1305 Main Street originally housed a dry goods store. In the 1890's, Thomas P. Bethshares purchased it for his new dry goods and grocery store, then later left dry goods behind to operate solely as a grocery store. The store became known for its saying, "Wants 1000 Dozen Eggs." It was also home to Rosenbloom's Store and underwent a restoration in 2017.
