Built for Andres Dold and designed by Charles Wheelock, this building was previously the site of Brownlee, Winters and Co., druggists, before being sold to attorney John De Witt Veeder. Andres and John Dold were listed among the top five wealth holders in New Mexico in the 1860 census.
