Veterans Memorial honors all men and women who served in World War I from 1917 to 1918, World War II from 1941 to 1945, Korea from 1950 to 1953, Vietnam from 1959 to 1975, and all other endeavors. A plaque on the back is dedicated to the memory of Frederick W. Schaeffer, Sgt., 'B' Co., First Air Cavalry, the first Pottsville soldier killed in Viet Nam on June 19, 1967.
