Civilian Conservation Corps Project

The Civilian Conservation Corps company 2775-V of Mandan, North Dakota, rendered invaluable service through the work of many young men preserving and maintaining parks and wildlife areas in this country. The CCC assisted in the development of Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park by building the museum, roads, shelters, earth lodges, and blockhouse and by marking the buildings of Fort Abraham Lincoln. The CCC operated from 1933 to 1942, with enrollees earning a dollar a day.
