Fred J. Borchard served for more than 50 years as a municipal judge, probate judge, and circuit judge, becoming Michigan's longest-serving jurist. His life was marked by unselfish effort, devotion, and service to the citizens of Saginaw. His belief in God, human understanding, sense of justice, and deep affection for the citizens of this community and state remained an inspiration and guide.
