Dedicated on September 11, 2011, this memorial honors and remembers the nearly 3,000 innocent victims and heroic first responders who died on September 11, 2001. In Rosemead and across America, they are not forgotten, nor is the tragedy that befell them. It includes a World Trade Center beam given by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and is accompanied by words of reflection on sorrow, hope, and sacrifice, including Winston Churchill's tribute to those to whom so much was owed by so many.
