Lake D'Arbonne State Park is a 655-acre outdoor recreation area in northern Louisiana near Farmerville, set in hilly mixed pine-hardwood forest beside Lake D'Arbonne. Known for frequent deer sightings and broad overnight and day-use amenities, it offers campsites, cabins, lodges, kayak rentals, fishing, camping, hiking, and paddling. A network of trails follows four main color-coded routes through the woods. The park also stands out as the only Louisiana state park with tennis courts. Its most distinctive attraction is a disc golf course on one trail that is regarded as among the world's most grueling and difficult, helping make the park a popular regional destination.
