The city's main post office was built in 1916. In October 1991, it closed when post office operations were moved to Pleasant Street. The Park Street building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, was sold to the City of Attleboro on November 4, 1994, and now houses a memorial wall to Towne Crier Larry Fitton as well as other government offices.
