St. Paul's United Methodist Church was established in 1903. Its first services were held in "Butcher's Hall" on Grand Avenue. The first church building, at Grand Avenue and Maple, was used from 1906 until 1925, and it now serves as the VFW Hall. This building was dedicated in 1925.
