The site hosted the first meeting of the Santa Paula Oddfellows lodge on April 26, 1884. The original hall was destroyed by fire in 1903. The present building with the clock tower was erected in 1905, and community donations made it possible to install the four-faced clock and a bell for the hall dedication on December 13, 1905.
