Hindel Cemetery was established in 1849 and is a historic cemetery listed in Indiana's Cemetery and Burial Grounds Registry of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. It was installed in 2012 by the Indiana Historical Bureau and LaPaz Lions Club, Center Township Trustee.
