Those honored were Robert Latham and Morge Hayes in World War I; Jerome Simpson, Melvin J. Green, James Martin, Loyd W. Watkins, James W. Loftis, Fred M. Newton, Therone J. Brown, James Carlisle Bryant, Lawton W. Smith, Walter T. Davis, Fred H. Werner, Aubrey J. McGill, and Ira Eugene Wiles in World War II; James W. Dunn and Bobby J. Smith in Korea; and Horace Jones, Clyde T. Martin, and Melvin Bowman in Vietnam.
