Richfield History Center in Richfield, Minnesota, preserves and interprets the city’s past through a museum, research library, and historical collections. Established in 2005 and operated by the Richfield Historical Society, it centers on the Bartholomew House Museum, an 1852 farmstead built by early settler Riley Lucas Bartholomew and notable for being assembled in sections from different locations. The site explores 19th-century farm life as well as Richfield’s transformation from a farming community into a suburb during the postwar decades.
