Cast in 1909 by C.S. Bell & Co. Foundry in Hillsboro, Ohio, this bell hung from 1911 to 1969 in the bell tower above the original Saint Anthony Church at 1547 Beverly Road. It was moved in 1969 to another location behind the church under the patio roof, where it remained for more than 40 years. The bell was rung frequently there for many years, but over time it was nearly forgotten, and many newer parish members did not know it was there. In 2013, it was restored and rededicated with the help of the Saint Anthony Holy Name Society. Markings on the bell identify its origin and casting date.
