Henry Baldwin, an officer and engineer in the Revolutionary War from 1777 to 1783, lies buried near this spot. He was a charter member of the Society of the Cincinnati. He was born Dec. 23, 1753, and died Oct 15, 1793, at Rising Sun, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland.
