Organized in 1913, this church is the second oldest in Pharr and the first to minister to the city's Spanish-speaking Protestants. After a group approached the Anglo Methodist Church in 1912 seeking their own place of worship, a small church was built on land donated by the Pharr Townsite Company. Originally called "The Mexican Methodist Church," it was renamed in the 1940s as "North Pharr Latin American Methodist Church" and took its current name in 1970. A new tract of land was acquired for a new sanctuary built in 1959, and a larger facility followed in 1995. The church has emphasized youth groups, outreach programs, and support for other mission churches.
