Fort Pierce Inlet State Park is a 340-acre Florida state park on North Hutchinson Island near Fort Pierce Inlet, spanning the narrow coastal strip between the Atlantic Ocean and Tucker Cove on the Indian River Lagoon. It preserves beach, dunes, and maritime hammock while serving mainly as a recreation area. Its shoreline and nearby waters support swimming, surfing, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving, and its inland areas offer hiking, birding, picnicking, and biking. The park includes a half-mile beach, a nature trail, and an offshore reef. It is managed with nearby Jack Island State Preserve, which adds trails and an observation tower over the Indian River and Jack Island.
