Young men who served in the Civilian Conservation Corps from April 1933 to July 1942 were honored for their dedication and spirit. Camp Chicago-Lemont, Company 612, at Willow Springs, Illinois, was established on June 4, 1933, as part of "Roosevelt's Tree Army."
