Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park, San Diego, is an art museum devoted to comics and related popular arts, created as a year-round counterpart to San Diego Comic-Con. Housed in the former San Diego Hall of Champions, it opened after a phased project begun when the city offered the building in 2017, transforming a sports-history site into a permanent home for pop-culture storytelling. Its exhibitions have ranged from major characters such as Batman, Wonder Woman, Pac-Man, and Spider-Man to broader shows on Comic-Con’s history and on Ernest Hemingway in comics, while its programs have also included community projects linking fandom, visual art, and public engagement.
