The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum in Creve Coeur, Missouri, was founded in 1995 and opened that year as the St. Louis Holocaust Museum and Learning Center. Its mission is to use the history and lessons of the Holocaust to reject hatred, promote understanding, and inspire change. For many years it operated as a department of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. After a two-year, $20 million renovation and expansion, it became an independent nonprofit in August 2022, and its new building opened on November 2, 2022. It now serves as a regional institution devoted to Holocaust history and education.
