The United States Army Ambulance Corps Service is dedicated to the memory of the USAACS, trained at Camp Crane to serve with the French and Italian armies, who gave their lives in the World War. In Woodrow Wilson's words, "In a righteous cause they have won immortal glory and have nobly served their nation in serving mankind." This memorial was presented to the City of Allentown in 1927.
