This loop trail passes through an impressive sequoia grove and introduces the General Grant tree and other notable trees. The round-trip loop distance is 3 city blocks, or 3/5 mile. Visitors are asked to help preserve the giant sequoia forest by staying on the trail. Pets and bicycles are not permitted on any park trail. Visitors are urged to take only pictures and memories, leave only footprints, and kill only time.
