In the 1800s, the building housed Mr. Bougas's livery stable business. In 1915, David Eisenlohr purchased the building, continued the livery business, and used a portion for auto parts and repairs. In 1920, it was remodeled, a gas pump was installed, and it reopened as a full Standard Oil service station. It closed in 1976. In 1981, Gustafson's Boutique Clothing opened there. In 2002-2003, it became a mini-mall open during the summer. In 2004, it housed Schultz Patio Creation — The Secret Garden. In 2006, Cosmic Candy was owned by John Nagel and Greg Lopus.
